The Willamette Art Models Guild (WAMG) was established in 1996 as an association of independent and individual fine-art models, formed for the mutual aid and protection of its members. WAMG is currently an informal association of models and is NOT a 501c(3) corporation. (Download a copy of our charter.)

WAMG supports models by striving to promote fine-art modeling as a respected profession, and to enforce basic standards for pay and working conditions. WAMG provides models with a list of local employers, and with the opportunity to be included on our list of active models. We also offer resource materials on the art of modeling, and provide models with the opportunity to connect with one another and to share information about their profession and local working conditions.

Our membership fee for models is $15 per year. We do not charge employers for our list of models, although we do require references, in order to ensure that potential employers are legitimate artists. We do not, however, perform site visits to determine working conditions.

Although we require that a model provide at least two references in order to be included on our list of active models, we do not audition models.
