The Willamette Art Models Guild (WAMG) was established in 1996 as an association of independent fine-art models, formed for the mutual aid and protection of its members.
Our goals include
- promoting the recognition of fine-art modeling as a profession.
- securing good working environments and fair compensation for professional art models.
- encouraging a membership that is professional in its relationship to area artists, teachers, institutions, and other employers.
- supporting its members through open discussion of and education about the drawbacks, rewards, and other nuances related to our field.
- providing a community that stems from the shared experience and common goals of its members.
- supporting and promoting the arts in general.
WAMG maintains a list of major art-model employers in the area, suggested guidelines for both models and employers, and a list of models currently available for work.
